For almost a century, Blind Veterans UK (Formerly St Dunstan's) has been giving invaluable physical and emotional support to blind and visually impaired ex-Service men and women. With the help of unique expertise, experience and comprehensive range of services beneficiaries are able to lead independent fulfilling lives.
To help Blind Veterans UK meet the needs of growing numbers of beneficiaries the Charity is opening a third centre in Llandudno in late Summer 2011.
"The new Centre will be invaluable in helping us to meet the needs of the ever increasing numbers of St Dunstaners. We shall be able to provide help and support to more beneficiaries, enabling them to adapt to their loss of sight, regain their independence and achieve a better quality of life. We also hope that our presence in Llandudno will make a useful contribution to the town and surrounding area."
Robert Leader, Blind Veterans UK Chief Executive
