Supertemps shortlisted in four categories for prestigious IRP Awards
We’re proud to announce that Supertemps and its staff have been shortlisted in four categories for the prestigious IRP (Institute of Recruitment Professionals) Awards 2015.
Now in its seventh year, the IRP Awards are the only recruitment sector awards hosted and awarded by the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC), providing an opportunity to celebrate excellence in recruitment, recognise individual and corporate success and promote best practice and professionalism across the industry.
There are 20 awards up for grabs, including the Lifetime Achievement and Recruitment Company of the year award.
The four categories in which Supertemps has been shortlisted are:
- Company of the Year
- Temporary Consultant of the Year (Vicki Armstrong-Smith, Senior Recruitment Consultant)
- Permanent Consultant of the Year (Sian Williams, Business Manager, Supertemps Specialist)
- Best Candidate and Client Experience (Sian Williams, Business Manager, Supertemps Specialist)
Headquartered in Colwyn Bay with a branch in Bangor and a Specialist Division focussing on IT and £30k + placements, Supertemps was formed in 1980 and is the region’s longest established independent recruitment agency.
REC chief executive Kevin Green said:
“We’ve been mightily impressed by the calibre of entries this year, which shows how highly these awards are valued by recruiters. Our members change lives and help businesses succeed, and the IRP Awards are an opportunity to celebrate the positive impact our industry makes. There’s so much talent within recruitment – the shortlisted individuals and companies are real ambassadors for the high standards we expect.”
Supertemps Managing Director Sarah Ellwood said: “These are one of the industry’s most prestigious awards so we’re absolutely thrilled to have been shortlisted for the Best Company category and have individual nominations in 3 other categories.”
“As a business we strive to meet and exceed high standards and I’m proud to say that over the 35 years we have been in North Wales we have formed an excellent reputation with the region’s employers and jobseekers. This latest awards nomination affirms our ongoing commitment to excellence.”
The winners of the IRP Awards 2015 will be announced at a ceremony in London on Wednesday 9 December.
