The North Wales Corporate Joint Committee, known under the brand Ambition North Wales, is a local government organisation with similar powers and duties to local authorities in Wales. It has representation from the six North Wales local authorities Conwy, Denbighshire, Flintshire, Gwynedd, Isle of Anglesey and Wrexham as well as the Eryri National Park Authority. 

Ambition North Wales has a responsibility for three main functions – Strategic Transport, Strategic Planning and Economic Well-being, which includes the delivery of the North Wales Growth Deal.   

We are looking for enthusiastic, committed team players who are passionate about driving our work programme forward. Each role has it’s own focus and responsibilities, but you will be expected to contribute to the wider work of the team. We’re looking for individuals capable of leading their own areas whilst also supporting their colleagues to deliver to ensure the success of the team as a whole.

The North Wales Corporate Joint Committee is the employing authority, with HR support provided by Cyngor Gwynedd. Therefore, while the roles are with the North Wales Corporate Joint Committee, the application process is hosted on the Cyngor Gwynedd website.  Please note, the roles are not based in Gwynedd.  The Ambition North Wales office is in Llandudno Junction with agile working across the region.

2. Follow the relevant link to apply online.  For all vacancies you will be taken to the Cyngor Gwynedd application portal to create an account and access the online application form. Please remember to complete all sections of the form. You are welcome to submit your form in Welsh or English
3. Closing dates can be found below
4. Following the closing date an assessment panel will assess your application against the requirements
5. Applicants who reach the shortlist will be invited to an interview.
6. We may ask applicants to complete a task either during or before the interview (full details will be included within the interview letter)
